Orlando offers four distinct entertainment districts: International Drive, Kissimmee, Lake Buena Vista and Walt Disney World.

International Drive

‘I-drive’ is known as Orlando’s original ‘tourist strip’ and is only 60 minutes from Sanford Airport. Now extending 12 miles, the area stretches to the edge of Walt Disney World resort, encompassing Seaworld, Wet ‘n’ Wild and the Belz factory outlet mall, as well as loads of shops, restaurants and bars in-between. There is no doubt that I-Drive will keep all ages entertained whether you are looking for day time or evening entertainment. If you want to be in the heart of it all then International Drive is the place to be, and if you want to head to Universal Studios it’s just over I-4 motorway.

90 minutes from Orlando and 2 hours from Sanford airport. Clearwater attracts a mainly younger crowd perhaps due to the excellent water sports facilities to keep you amused during the day. At night there are lively bars and nightclubs to keep you entertained. A great haunt of the yachting scene the old harbour area provides a few seafront restaurants and you can even hire a boat to go up and down the coast. The coastline here attracts lots of dolphins so keep your eyes open as you go over the ‘inter coastal highway’ bridge. If you do get theme park withdrawal symptoms you can always spend a day at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay for some more thrilling rides.
